Overview

Septoplasty is a procedure that corrects a deviated septum or other deformities in the nasal septum (the boney structure separating the nostrils). It is usually done to reduce the risk of sinus infections, fix a breathing problem caused by a deviated septum, and straighten a crooked nose.
