Overview

Fat transfer is a minimally-invasive procedure in which fat is taken from one part of the body (such as the belly) using liposuction and then transferred (injected) into another part (such as breasts or buttocks) to add volume and fullness. The procedure includes tiny cuts which are quite unlikely to leave noticeable scars. Fat transfer results are permanent, the donor area won’t grow new fat cells and the recipient area will keep the transferred fat in place, however, part of the fat will be absorbed within the first few weeks and the final outcome is not as prominent as the immediate result.
