What is the recommended timeframe for receiving Xeomin and dermal fillers after undergoing plastic surgery?

I'm scheduled for a Mommy Makeover in early December, which encompasses a breast lift, tummy tuck, and a significant amount of liposuction. What is the safe waiting period before I can receive Botox, Restylane injections or Xeomin Injection? Is it a matter of weeks or months?

Swelling After Juvederm Injection—Should I Massage It?

Hello, I had a Juvederm injection yesterday, but my face is still swollen. Will massaging the area help reduce the swelling faster? Also, I went to the gym on the same day I got the injection. Could that be why I'm experiencing swelling?

Which is better, Botox or Dysport? How many units would be required to address my forehead wrinkles?

Hello, I'm currently in the process of deciding whether to undergo either Botox or Dysport treatment within the next month or two. I'm considering the cost differences and was hoping to gain some insights into how many units of Botox or Dysport might be required. I've discovered that two local offices will be running specials in October: one offering Botox at $11 per unit and the other offering Dysport at $4 per unit.

I'm curious about Dysport and Botox. What sets them apart from each other in terms of their ingredients, effectiveness, and side effects? Also, when would one be chosen over the other based on different people or situations?

What alternatives or suggestions do you have for individuals who are unresponsive to Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin?

For the past seven years, I've been receiving Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin treatments to slim down my lower face by reducing the size of my masseter muscles. Unfortunately, over the past two years, these treatments have become ineffective. It seems I may have developed resistance to Botulinum toxin type A. I'm interested in trying Botulinum toxin type B (Myobloc), but I'm encountering difficulty finding a doctor who offers this less commonly used option.

How are Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport typically priced at most clinics?

Do they have similar pricing structures? If they do, what is the reason behind the widespread preference for Botox among most individuals?

Is it possible for masseter Botox to cause lasting harm to nerves or muscles?

Dear medical professionals, I seek your assistance. I received masseter Botox treatment, and nearly six months have passed, yet my smile has not fully returned to its previous state. Is it possible that the injection process may have caused damage to my muscles or nerves? What steps can I take at this point to address this issue?

Is it typical for Dysport to spread after injection?

I had my first Dysport injections five days ago, targeting my crow's feet, forehead, and 11s. I'm satisfied with the results around my 11s and crow's feet, but there are areas on my forehead that appear untreated. You can refer to the attached photo. Is it possible that Dysport will continue to spread to these untreated areas since it's only been five days since the injection?

Is it possible that Dysport isn't effective for me, or could it be related to a problematic batch of Dysport?

What could have gone awry? I received 60 units of Dysport for my forehead lines and 11s, along with a unit or two in my brow to lift it. However, I haven't seen any noticeable results, and it has been seven days since the treatment.

Why didn't Dysport produce any results for me?

I'm 30 years old and began getting Botox when I was 28. Initially, I only treated my forehead, and then around a year ago, I started treating my masseters as well. Botox typically lasted for about 2 months before movement started returning. I switched to Dysport with a new provider after relocating. Dysport worked wonderfully; I received another injection, and it still worked effectively, lasting for 4 months. However, when I went in for a treatment a month ago, I didn't experience any change with Dysport. I followed up with additional injections, but still, there was no change. What might be the reason for this sudden lack of response to Dysport?

dimpleIs it safe to inject undiluted Dysport into the face?

I visited a facility for Botox treatment, and the technician informed me that they were out of Botox but had undiluted Dysport available. She suggested a 1-to-1 ratio, meaning she would inject 20 units of undiluted Dysport instead of the prepaid 20 units of Botox, claiming it would have the same effect. I decided not to proceed with the treatment and am now questioning the accuracy of her statement. I haven't been able to find any information online about injecting undiluted Dysport. Thank you for your assistance.

Could Botox exacerbate dry eye symptoms?

Hello, I've been contemplating getting Botox injections in my forehead and between my eyebrows. However, I do have dry eyes, and I'm concerned about whether it might worsen this condition. Several years ago, I had Botox in my forehead and experienced severe side effects for approximately two weeks, including nausea, dizziness, headaches, and a heavy sensation in my head and eye sockets. At that time, dry eyes weren't an issue for me. I'm wondering if using a smaller dose could potentially reduce these side effects? My primary goal is to lift the tails of my brows.

Is my facial asymmetry primarily due to my eyebrows, or is it related to facial surgery or Botox treatments?

I've always been uncertain if waxing my eyebrows could address the appearance of my seemingly lower eyebrow or if it's just a natural aspect of my face. I've attached a picture from when I was younger, and it seems like my face was more symmetrical back then. I don't expect absolute facial symmetry, as nobody has that, but I'm bothered by the way my eyebrows look in photos. What could be causing this? Is it something I can resolve through eyebrow grooming, or does it require a more significant intervention like facial surgery or Botox? This issue is quite distressing to me at this point.

Are you receiving insufficient Botox treatment and paying more than necessary?

Are you receiving insufficient Botox treatment and paying more than necessary? Experiencing forehead and eye area movement six weeks post-treatment. I'm a 32-year-old woman who has been receiving Botox injections since I was 28. I've visited a reputable dermatologist in my city twice now for Botox treatments, and the cost is a flat fee of around $600 for a "full area." On both occasions, I was administered what the dermatologist referred to as "baby Botox." It's been almost 7 weeks since the last treatment, and I can still move my forehead quite a bit. While I don't have permanent wrinkles, I do have a very expressive forehead and a strong glabellar muscle. I'm beginning to feel like I might be overpaying for these treatments, especially since I can still see movement in my eye area. Do you think I might be getting charged too much for the results I'm seeing?
