Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)
Overview
Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive laser therapy that uses light energy to repair and regenerate skin cells and hair follicles, used as a treatment for skin conditions such as wrinkles and loose skin, as well as thinning hair. LLLT brings about rejuvenation both through increasing collagen production and decreasing its degradation. It has cumulative effects so the time between treatment sessions increases as you continue receiving the treatment. The initial results usually appear in 4 to 6 weeks and improve gradually over time.
