Dr. Karacaoglu finished a residency program at Haydarpasa Training Hospital in Istanbul and then went to the United States to undergo training in plastic surgery, particularly breast surgery. He was an associate professor of plastic surgery at Yeditepe University, School of Medicine, between 2005 and 2010. He has also been the head of the Department of Aesthetic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery at the Memorial Atasehir Hospital Istanbul since 2005.
