After completing his PhD, Dr. Toptas completed his military service in Gümüşsuyu military hospital. He then worked as a lecturer at Medipol University and Bezm-i Alem University.

Currently, Dr. Toptas is the Medical Director at the Private Oral and Dental Health Center in Istanbul. He is also a Periodontist at Acibadem Healthcare Group.
