Dr. Nihat Ozkan was born on April 15, 1956, in the Midyat district of Mardin. His academic background includes completing high school at Midyat High School and obtaining a medical degree from Diyarbakır University Faculty of Medicine in 1981. His education also involved training at the Military Medical School.

After completing his education, Dr. Ozkan served in the Doğubeyazıt Brigade in roles including the Sıhhiye Bölük Commander and Revirbibi. In 1984, he began specializing in dermatology at the Gülhane Military Medical Academy. By 1987, he had completed his specialization and was appointed as a Leather and Venereal Diseases Specialist at the Ankara-Dışkapı 600-Bed Location Military Hospital, where he also held positions as Clinic Chief and Chief Medical Assistant.

In 1996, Dr. Ozkan was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel. In 2001, he received an appointment to the Diyarbakır Military Hospital as a Medical Senior Colonel. Dr. Ozkan retired from the military in 2002 and has since been managing the Özkan Dermatology Clinics in Ankara.

Dr. Ozkan's professional involvement extends to appearances in the media regarding dermatological diseases and laser epilation.
