Dr. Murat Polat was born in 1978 in Konya, Türkiye. He completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown and then entered Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) in Ankara in 1996 to study medicine. After graduation, he started his medical practice as a Medical Lieutenant in 2002. Having served his compulsory service between 2003 and 2005, Dr. Polat pursued a residency program in the Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery Department of GATA. 

Having completed his specialty program, Dr. Polat was appointed as the chief of the plastic surgery clinic at Izmir Military Hospital in 2011. In 2014, Dr. Polat returned to his hometown, Konya, and worked at Farabi Private Hospital as a senior plastic surgeon as well as Harem Deluxe Clinic. He has been practicing at his private clinic in Beşiktaş, Istanbul since January 2018.

Dr. Polat has performed over 5000 successful operations so far, which brought him extensive experience in performing various types of aesthetic surgeries. He is well-known for his minimally invasive approach to surgery, which leads to a faster recovery and less scarring for his patients. He speaks English and Arabic, besides his native language, and is a father of two children.
