Dr. Candemir Ceran

Dr. Candemir Ceran was born in Niğde, Turkey in 1978. His initial schooling took place at 23 Nisan Havacılar Primary School and Mersin İçel Anatolian High School. In 2001, he graduated from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine and spent some time as a general practitioner.

Ceran later chose to specialize in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, undertaking his specialty training at Ankara Ataturk Training and Research Hospital from 2004 to 2010. He expanded his horizons by conducting a study in Tokyo, Japan, with a Showa University scholarship between 2005 and 2006. His research largely focused on lip and cleft palate surgeries and correcting structural anomalies.

The subsequent stage of Ceran's career brought him to Los Angeles, USA. There, he engaged in work with Carlo Honrado at La Peer Plastic Surgery Clinic, focusing on facial cosmetic surgeries and rhinoplasty. He was one of the five international recipients of the Young Plastic Surgeon Award from the European Association of Plastic Surgeons (EURAPS). This recognition allowed him to study and participate in surgeries with Prof. Fabio Santanelli in Rome, where the focus was on breast cosmetic surgeries and breast reconstruction post-cancer.

Ceran's contributions to the field were acknowledged in 2017 when he was titled as an Associate Professor. His work emphasizes continuous research and professional development in the field of plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery.
