Dr. Aydin Gozu

Dr. Aydin Gozu, originally from Antakya, completed his primary and secondary education at Samsun Anatolian High School in Samsun. He later graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. After fulfilling his compulsory duty, he successfully passed the TUS examination and initiated his specialist training in Aesthetic-Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Between 1992 and 1998, Dr. Gozu trained at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital, focusing specifically on the domain of repair and hand microsurgery. His training supervisor during this period was the clinical chief, Prof. Dr. Lütfü Baş.

In 1997, Dr. Gozu pursued additional training at François Rabelais University Faculty of Medicine in Tours, France, for three months, where he delved into the realm of maxillofacial surgery under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Dominique Goga. This was followed by further professional development in Paris with Dr. B. Cornette de St Cyr, focusing on aesthetic-plastic surgery. In 1998, he carried out a rotation at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, concentrating on skull-facial surgery with Prof. Dr. Ecmel Songür.

Dr. Gozu's career trajectory then led him to Vakıf Gureba Hospital Aesthetic-Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic, where he was positioned as a chief assistant from 1999 to 2010 under the clinic chief, Associate Prof. Dr. Zafer Özsoy. In 2003, he continued his professional growth at Virginia Arlington, Washington DC Hospital, working alongside Ass. Prof. Dr. Talal Munasifi from Georgetown University.

Dr. Gozu started working as an associate professor at Istanbul Okan University Faculty of Medicine in 2011 and was later promoted to a professor in 2016. Currently, he operates from his own clinic in Istanbul Suadiye.

In addition to his core training, Dr. Gozu has completed specializations in Hand Surgery in 2011, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2012. His practice encompasses a broad range of medical and surgical competencies, with a strong focus on aesthetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery.
