About Doctor Arzu Aykor

Dr. Aykor, an alumna of Deutsche Schule, Istanbul, initiated her higher education journey at the Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, earning her degree with achievement as second in her class in 1991. Her pursuit of knowledge continued in the same institution where she embraced a post-graduate focus on Operative Dentistry. The culmination of her doctoral studies came with her thesis, examining the “Effect of fluoride on enamel lesions,” paving her way to specialize in Restorative Dentistry.

Transitioning from student to educator, Dr. Aykor commenced her academic career at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2000. She was conferred the title of associate professor in 2005. Furthermore, she has contributed to the Cosmetic Dentistry master's program at the university through her lectures. 

A notable part of her career was her tenure at Okan University Faculty of Dentistry, where she not only achieved her professor title in 2014 but also served as the Head of the Restorative Dentistry Department. Her practice also extended into the private sector, where she offered her expertise in aesthetic treatments at the Oral and Dental Health unit in Estethica Medical Center.
