Doctors' Response

Pain During Blepharoplasty Procedure

Hello, do you feel any pain during blepharoplasty? I heard it's done under local anesthesia without general anesthesia, and I want to know if you don't feel any pain at all?

Hello,
Blepharoplasty can be performed under both general anesthesia and local anesthesia. In both cases, you will not feel any pain during the procedure. If blepharoplasty is performed simultaneously with another procedure, such as rhinoplasty, it definitely requires general anesthesia. However, if performed alone, it can also be done with just local anesthesia.

Hello! In my experience with blepharoplasty under local anesthesia, I didn't feel any pain during the procedure. The area was completely numbed, and all I felt was a bit of tugging and pressure but no pain. It’s quite manageable, and the doctors ensure you're comfortable throughout the procedure

Hi there! You shouldn’t feel any pain during blepharoplasty if local anesthesia is used effectively. You might be aware of the surgeon working around your eyes, but there shouldn't be any discomfort. It’s normal to feel anxious, but the medical team will take good care of you and ensure you feel no pain.

I had blepharoplasty with local anesthesia and didn’t feel any pain, just some minor sensations of movement around my eyelids. It's really not painful thanks to the anesthesia. The surgeons are very skilled in ensuring you're as comfortable as possible, so there's no need to worry!

No pain at all! I was fully awake during my blepharoplasty, and thanks to the local anesthesia, I didn’t feel any pain. There was some light pressure, but nothing painful. It’s amazing how well local anesthesia works in such sensitive areas as the eyes.

I’m wondering if the shape of my eyes or any of my facial features in this photo make me look Asian. Some people have mentioned it before, and now I’m curious — is there anything about my appearance that suggests I might have Asian features or ancestry, based on how I look?

I had eyelid surgery about five years ago, but the stitch lines are still quite visible. Unfortunately, makeup doesn’t fully cover them, and they’re noticeable in certain lighting. Is it normal for scars to remain this prominent after so many years? How much longer do you think they’ll stay like th

What is the cost of a deep plane facelift combined with an upper eyelid blepharoplasty? I’m curious about the pricing for both procedures together and whether combining them affects the overall cost. Could you provide an idea of the typical price range for these surgeries

Please help, I'm really stressed out about this. It’s been two months since I had upper eyelid blepharoplasty. Now, I feel like my eyes are uneven. Is this even possible, or am I just imagining things? No one has mentioned it because I always wear eyeliner, so it’s not very noticeable.

I had blepharoplasty 6 days ago, but I can still see the stitch marks. How long does it usually take for these stitch marks from blepharoplasty to heal?
