Prof. Dr. Pelin Koçyiğit serves as a lecturer in the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. Born on July 31, 1971, in Ankara, Dr. Koçyiğit completed her primary education at Ulubatlı Hasan Primary School and furthered her studies at TED Ankara College for secondary and high school. In 1989, she embarked on her medical journey at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, graduating in 1995.

After graduation, Dr. Koçyiğit initiated her specialization in Dermatology and Venereology at the same institution, completing it in 1999. Following her specialization, she began her career as a Specialist Doctor in the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at Ankara University. Her determination to her field led to her promotion to Associate Professor in 2006 and subsequently to Professor in 2012.

Prof. Dr. Koçyiğit's professional interests encompass a wide range of dermatological concerns. She has a particular focus on acne treatment, management of skin cancers, and expertise in skin surgery. Additionally, her work extends to treating nail and hair diseases, as well as addressing skin discolorations, scars, and cosmetic applications. 

Since 2012, alongside her academic responsibilities, Prof. Dr. Koçyiğit has been managing her private practice. Her clinic, located on Bestekar Street in Ankara, has been operational since February 2013. The clinic offers a variety of dermatological services.
