About Doctor Omer Sagir

Dr. Ömer Sağır was born in Adana, southern Türkiye in 1983. He graduated from Bilfen High School and entered Dicle University Faculty of Medicine to study medicine. Having received his M.D. degree in 2010, Dr. Sagir successfully passed the TUS examination and went to Acıbadem University School of Medicine for a residency program in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. 

Dr. Sagir completed his specialty program after doing his thesis on “the effects of stem cells on tendon healing”. During his residency, he had the chance to work with the best Turkish physicians. He was assigned to a surgical rotation in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Bezmialem Foundation University School of Medicine Hospital between 2011-2014, where he performed a lot of cosmetic surgeries, congenital craniofacial anomalies surgeries, hand surgeries, and microsurgical surgeries. 

Dr. Omer Sagir volunteered in 2013 to travel to Sudan, where he carried out many cleft lip and palate repair operations on children with this birth defect. He went to the US in 2014 for an observership program in hip aesthetics with Dr. Constantino Mendieta in Miami. He also received training on facelift and rhinoplasty surgery from Dr. Daniel Becker n New Jersey. He was one of the surgeons who performed migraine surgery that was approved by the United States Department of Health and Human Services. 

Dr. Sagir successfully passed the European Board Examination in Plastic Surgery in April 2016, which is a prestigious qualification exam held by the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS). He is also an active member of the International Society of Aesthetic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery and the Turkish Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Omer Sagir has his private clinic in Şişli, Istanbul, where he sees patients coming from all corners of the world for aesthetic procedures.
