Dr. Harun Cologlu was born in 1974 in Gülşehir-Nevşehir. His foundational medical education culminated at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, where he graduated in 1999. Subsequent to his graduation, Dr. Cologlu collaborated with Mehmet Haberal at Başkent University.

In 2000, he began his specialization in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Ankara Research and Training Hospital. Concurrently, he fortified his skill set with an education in Microsurgery. By 2005, Dr. Cologlu took up a three-year specialist role at Düzce Atatürk State Hospital. Following this, he served at Balıkesir Military Hospital for a year.

Further expanding his professional horizons, in 2010, Dr. Cologlu augmented his expertise in Head and Neck, Nose, and Breast Surgery at the University of LA California Ranold Reagan Hospital. This led to him accepting a lecturer position at Başkent University in 2011. A year later, in 2012, he achieved specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. 

His relentless pursuit of knowledge was rewarded in 2015 when he successfully cleared the Associate Professorship exam. Since 2016, Dr. Cologlu has been affiliated with Istinye University Liv Hospital, where he continues his research and professional contributions.
