About Doctor Hakan Bulam

Dr. Hakan Bulam's journey as a medical doctor commenced in 2000 when he enrolled in Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. Completing his medical education in 2006, he graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. Following his graduation, he successfully passed the Medical Specialization Exam and embarked on his specialization in Gazi University Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Department. After completing six years of medical residency training in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, he earned the esteemed title of Turkey's leading teacher with Plastic Surgery in 2012.

Once he concluded his specialization, Dr Bulam accomplished written and oral international exams in Helsinki and Brussels in 2013, acquiring the distinguished designation of "Member of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons" (Fellow of European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery-FEBOPRAS). Concurrently, he holds a professional qualification diploma from the "Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Association.

Throughout his tenure at University and Training-Research Hospitals, Dr Hakan Bulam gained extensive experience in various domains, including aesthetic surgery, microsurgery, cancer and repair surgery, and maxillofacial surgery. During his specialization at Gazi University, he actively participated in the face transplant and organ transplant team. Simultaneously, he consistently enhanced his expertise in aesthetic surgery and non-surgical aesthetic applications by attending numerous courses, congresses, and meetings. Since transitioning to private practice, Dr. Bulam has dedicated himself to the fields of aesthetic face, breast, and body surgeries, as well as non-surgical aesthetic procedures. Additionally, he serves as a lecturer at Istanbul Şişli Vocational School.

Dr Bulam's contributions to the medical field extend beyond clinical practice. He has authored more than 40 articles published in international and national refereed journals and delivered numerous oral presentations at different scientific meetings. Furthermore, he has contributed to international and national book chapters and conducted translations. Dr. Bulam actively stays abreast of professional international advancements, and he is fluent in English. Apart from his medical pursuits, he maintains a keen interest in fitness, basketball, healthy eating, music, and travel.
