Dr. Gurkan Kayabasoglu

Dr. Gurkan Kayabasoglu is a highly skilled and dedicated medical professional who believes that medicine is an art. Focusing exclusively on facial operations, Dr. Kayabasoglu has dedicated his education and scientific research to the study of the human face. As a result, he has been awarded the diploma of Oral, Maxillofacial, and Maxillofacial Surgery by the Ministry of Health. His surgical expertise is further enhanced by training received from leading Turkish and international professors at prestigious clinics around the world.

Dr. Gurkan Kayabasoglu is an Official Fellow of Turkey's European Society of Facial Plastic Surgery. With a passion for innovation in medicine and surgery, he has made significant contributions to the field. Dr. Kayabasoglu has discovered and applied six different surgical techniques that have been published in respected scientific journals worldwide. His numerous scientific studies have earned him various degrees and awards in Turkey.

After completing his specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Kayabasoglu continued his academic pursuits and was awarded the title of Associate Professor in October 2015. As an expert in Aesthetic Nose and Facial Surgery, he is frequently invited to speak at international conferences and congresses around the globe.

Dr. Kayabasoglu serves as a Lecturer at the Face Plastic Surgery School, where he trains 10-15 specialist physicians each year in facial plastic surgery operations, including facelifts, rhinoplasty, otoplasty, skin tumors, flaps and grafts, eyelid aesthetics and chin tip aesthetics.

In revision nose surgeries, Dr. Gurkan Kayabasoglu demonstrates expertise and careful planning, as these procedures often require more experience and may involve taking rib or ear cartilage. As a member of the Face Plastic Surgery Association and the Board of Directors, Dr. Kayabasoglu is deeply committed to the principle of "Health is Priority." Adhering to the Hippocratic Oath, he places the utmost importance on preserving the basic health of his patients.
