Dr. Fatih Peker

Dr. Fatih Peker, a specialist in Aesthetic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery, has a substantial career history in his field.

Dr. Peker's professional journey involved academic courses and training programs dedicated to understanding congenital anomalies and their respective treatments. He has attended and participated in many scientific meetings both nationally and internationally, presenting his findings and actively contributing to surgical procedures related to these issues.

Dr. Peker served at the GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital starting from 1995, appointed as the Assistant Chief to the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Service. During his tenure, he was involved in the management of training activities, thesis coordination, and various course and seminar programs for assistant and specialist physicians. This period also saw him conducting his scientific research.

In pursuit of broader knowledge, Dr. Peker spent time in Belgium in 1999 focusing on Flap Surgery. He further expanded his expertise at the Department of Plastic Surgery at New York Columbia University in 2001.

Dr. Peker's professional record includes the performance of over 7000 surgeries, a combination of both reconstructive and aesthetic procedures. His contributions to the scientific community are evidenced by his 21 referenced publications on the international scientific platform.

Post a successful exam in front of an Interuniversity Board jury in 2002, Dr. Peker was awarded the title of University Associate Professor.

After retiring from the Turkish Armed Forces as a Senior Medical Colonel in August 2005, doctor Peker continued his work in the medical field. Presently, he operates as an independent physician, applying his professional knowledge and experience in serving his patients and for educational activities.
