Dr. Berat Cigdem

Born in 1983 in Ankara, Dr. Berat Cigdem completed his early education at İzmir Maltepe Military High School. His high school years were notable for his participation in the Painting Contest between Military High Schools, where he secured first place in both 2000 and 2001.

Dr. Cigdem then entered the GATA Medical Faculty with aspirations to delve into the medical field. Upon completing his general medical education, he found himself at a crossroads. Despite his inclination towards military service, he recognized the need to specialize in Plastic Surgery elsewhere due to the unavailability of the specialization at GATA at that time. This led him to the Ankara Dışkapı Training and Research Hospital.

Throughout his tenure at the hospital, Dr. Cigdem adopted a structured approach. He regularly utilized tools such as a camera for documentation, a ruler for precise measurements, and a drawing pen for pre-operative planning. This routine underscored the importance of preparation before any surgical procedure.
