Dr. Afsin Uysal

Born in Ankara in 1971, Dr. Afsin Uysal's educational foundation was laid at Ankara Sofuoğlu Primary School, progressing through TED Ankara College for both secondary and high school education. Dr. Uysal completed medical studies at Ankara University, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1994.

Advancing in his profession, Dr. Uysal undertook specialized training at Uludağ University's Faculty of Medicine, culminating in December 2000 with a specialization in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His academic achievements continued to flourish, earning him the title of Associate Professor in 2007, alongside further specializations in Hand Surgery and Oral, Facial and Maxillofacial Surgery in the subsequent years.

Dr. Uysal's clinical experience encompasses tenure at various esteemed institutions. From 2001 to 2011, he contributed significantly to the Ankara Training and Research Hospital, eventually rising to the position of Chief Assistant in the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic. His proficiency was also showcased during his time at TOBB ETÜ Hospital and in his own practice established in February 2017.

On an international level, Dr. Uysal has been active, participating in International Interplast missions in Kazakhstan in 2002 and receiving microsurgery training in Zurich in March 2007. Additionally, his expertise was recognized during a stint as a visiting fellow at the Nippon Medical School in Tokyo.
