Is Non-Surgical Nose Job Worth It?

Hi there,

I've been researching non-surgical nose job procedures as an alternative to traditional rhinoplasty. I'm curious if anyone here has tried it and what their experience was like. Did you achieve the results you wanted? How long did the results last? Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, Non-surgical nose jobs, often referred to as "liquid rhinoplasty," involve the injection of dermal fillers to alter the shape of the nose temporarily. This method is indeed less invasive than surgical rhinoplasty and offers the advantage of immediate results with minimal to no downtime. However, patients should be aware that results from dermal fillers are temporary, generally lasting between 6 to 12 months, depending on the type of filler used and individual patient factors such as metabolism rate. Fillers can address issues like smoothing out bumps, altering the angle of the nose tip, and refining nasal symmetry, but they cannot reduce nose size or correct major nasal deformities.

It's critical to seek treatment from a reputable and experienced practitioner to ensure safe application and the most aesthetically pleasing results. If you're considering a permanent change, surgical options should be discussed with a qualified plastic surgeon who can guide you based on your nasal structure and aesthetic goals. For those contemplating changes to their nasal appearance, whether temporary or permanent, it’s crucial to have a thorough consultation with your practitioner to understand all options and potential outcomes.

I went for a non-surgical nose job with fillers and honestly, I was pretty happy with how it turned out. It’s way less of a hassle than surgery, and you basically have no downtime. Just keep in mind that it’s not forever—expect the results to stick around for maybe 6 to 12 months.

Hey there, I also tried out fillers to tweak my nose before I fully committed to surgery. It’s a solid way to test drive changes without making anything permanent. Just be sure you go to someone really good who knows their way around this kind of procedure.

Absolutely right about them being temporary. Plus, the changes you can make aren't as drastic as with surgery, so it’s really only good for small tweaks. But for that, it’s perfect!

I used fillers to deal with a small bump on my nose, and it definitely made it smoother. It’s a great temporary fix if you’re not quite ready to jump into surgery. Gave me some time to think about if I wanted to go all the way with a permanent solution.

Hello, good day to you, After my rhinoplasty, the doctor recommended washing my nose with a saline solution, but I've seen recipes for making it at home on some websites. Do you think it's safe to use these homemade solutions? I'm worried about getting an infection if I use these DIY solutions.
