Could undergoing SMP (Scalp Micropigmentation) before a hair transplant potentially complicate the procedure?

I'm curious about the impact of having SMP (Scalp Micropigmentation) done before a hair transplant. Could having SMP camouflage the bald patches to the extent that it becomes challenging for doctors to transplant hair into those areas, potentially leaving gaps between the transplanted hairs? I've had a previous hair transplant a few years ago, and I'm considering SMP for the gaps and the back area. However, I'm concerned that this might complicate the process of extracting and transplanting hair into the SMP-treated areas.
